Kyle Rittenhouse will apparently not actually get his gun back. According to ABC News, the judge presiding over the case as to whether or not he could approved an agreement on Friday that would see the gun destroyed. Officials for the district attorney’s office confirmed to the outlet that the gun would in fact be destroyed sometime in April.
Rittenhouse was all but 17 when he shot and unlawfully (but got away with it anyway) three people during the Kenosha protests in response to police violence and other things. Rittenhouse maintains he was defending himself regardless of that fact.
