Coca-Cola is catching some flack this week over reports of a diversity training course that allegedly told employees to be less white. While the course wasn’t formally shared by the company, whistleblowers posted parts of the course online and it immediately garnered backlash.
“In the U.S. and other Western nations, white people are socialized to feel that they are inherently superior because they are white,” reads one of the slides, allegedly sent from an “internal whistleblower” and posted on Twitter .
In statements to several outlets, Coke denied that the course was required although it has since been pulled from Linkedin and the like.
