Prosecutors in the case against Donald Trump are reportedly ready to move on charges. According to The Independent, prospectors are prepared to ask a grand jury to vote on charges as soon as tomorrow. The charges are understood to include violations of the Espionage Act and obstruction.
In terms of the Espionage Act, Trump is accused of violating portions of Section 793, which prohibits “gathering, transmitting or losing” any “information respecting the national defence.”
It comes as Trump was informed earlier this week that he is officially considered a target in the classified documents investigation.
