Another day another mass shooting threat in America. According to police in Boulder Colorardo, a man by the name of Matthew Harris has been arrested over reported threats of a mass shooting to UCLA. Police say that Harris in fact was a former lecturer at the school though the reasoning behind his manifesto isn’t entirely clear.
Authorities in that city also confirmed that he had made numerous violent threats to others including venues in Boulder (UCLA was not the only place.) According to the Los Angeles Times (paywall), Harris sent a manifesto containing more than 100-200 pages that also contained video references to other notorious American shootings. Those files along with the manifesto are understood to have been sent to UCLA ‘s philosophy department.
