Johnson and Johnson just isn’t having a grand time trying to ensure that the American people and beyond have access to their vaccine. According to the FDA, officials have ordered that Johnson and Johnson destroy at least 60m vials of the vaccine that came from the troubled Baltimore plant belonging to the pharma company.
The trouble for the company has been mounting for sometime. Against the backdrop of reports that some of their vaccines got contaminated in Baltimore — many people are fearful of the J&J vaccine in particular. The vials discarded were made at a biolab called Emergent BioSolutions which is a biolab that has been hit by numerous health code violations, Those violations range from failing to properly wash and sanitize equipment to outright not changing their clothes and working in proper attire.
