A humungous win for low-income residents in Missouri this week. According to a Supreme Court ruling in the state, officials at Medicaid must expand the popular healthcare programme to low-income residents by default and must do so immediately. A suit to expand Medicaid was brought against the state after the state tried to argue that a ballot approved last year to do just that was supposedly unlawful.
