In a shock new report it appears the United States has reached a settlement in the death of Capitol rioter Ashi Babbitt. Babbitt died on 6 January 2021 after attempting to storm the House Speakers office.

According to ABC News, sources told the outlet on Monday of how the U.S government has settled with the family of an infamous Capitol rioter killed by Capitol police. That woman, Ashi Babbitt, died after attempting to storm the House Speakers office on 6 January 2021 and was killed by Capitol Police Lt. Michael Byrd.
ABC notes that the family will receive about $5m though hefty chunks will go to lawyers and Judicial Watch Group.
