Airlines are now poised to begin picking their own air routes

In a big change expected to reap even larger fuel savings, airlines are gearing up to now have the ability to choose their own flight paths across the Atlantic. According to CNN, the move comes after months of the “air road” being freed up by the pandemic.

The change was never possible until now and there is not an exact end date on the change itself.
