Pet owners now have another worry on their hands. According to Bazaar Daily UK, a French pooch is making headlines this week after it emerged that it caught monkeypox from its owners. The British mag reports that the unidentified gay couple who shared a non-monogamous relationship slept with their pooch in the bed kick-starting transmission. The 4 year old greyhound tested positive after showing lesions 12 days after the couple did.
As a result of this revelation the CDC has now updated guidance on this matter.
