The Lowdown

In the latest of Donald Trump’s executive orders, an order in regards to TikTok has emerged. Per that order and reports Trump simply delayed the already existing law that demands ByteDance sell nearly all of its stake in the company or be banned in the United States. The demand comes from claims in Washington that the company, Bytendace and its app TikTok, pose a national security threat as it does a threat to everyday Americans.

While there is time you should also probably make a backup copy of all of your content and the like you know just in case.

Despite the misinformation, and please understand this, Donald Trump cannot override an act of Congress. The act in question has also been backed up by the Supreme Court who held in their ruling on the matter that the ban should hold.

There’s a lot of misinformation going around about the app. Trump’s order does not in any way stop the act it simply delays the inevitable. Content creators should be wary of posting any new content on the app until this ordeal is situated though caution should exercised if TikTok is sold to the American oligarchy.
