- On Friday, teen school shooter Colt Gray, 14, appeared in his first court hearing to determine eventually his fate. He stands accused of murdering at least four people in a mass shooting at Apalachee High School in Winder Georgia.
- His father Colin Gray, 54, has also been arrested on allegations that he provided the gun to Gray so he had been charged as an accessory. His charges include four for involuntary manslaughter, two counts of second-degree murder and eight counts of cruelty to children.
- An arrest warrant actually acknowledged that he knowingly provided the gun to a child he knew had some problems.
It’s a story America knows all too well.
According to reports, the entire Gray clan has some trouble rather than isolated issues. Arresting affidavits in the case revealed that the elder Gray purchased the weapon in December 2023 for his son. An astonishingly irresponsible move according to prosecutors.
Colin Gray who appeared in his own hearing is reportedly facing up to 180 years in prison if convicted on every count against him.
Local reports indicate that the DA intends to file more charges as the statuses and conditions of any other victims becomes updated.
