Democratic lawmakers in Washington have introduced a bill that would effectively ban Donald Trump from the White House ever again. According to reports, 41 Democratic lawmakers have begun the bill process in hopes that others will join on in an effort to protect the United States from Donald Trump.
Rep. David Cicilline (D-R.I.) and 40 others ar leading the charge just weeks after the often dishonest Trump announced his 2024 campaign for President once more in the country.
The proposed bill cites sub-Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, adopted some years after the Civil War, which indefinitely bars any official who has sworn an oath to defend the American government from then seeking reelection if they had or willingly “engaged in insurrection or rebellion” against the government at any one point in time.
