Democrats have finally gotten their way over gaining access to Donald Trump ‘s tax returns. According to reports published this week, the Internal Revenue Service has finally handed over six years’ worth of Donald Trump’s tax returns. ABC reports that because Democrats do not have control of the House for much longer they must and in a fast manner decide how to proceed forward with them. Lawyers have indicated that there is a possibility that they will be made public.
The move comes after the Supreme Court rejected a last-ditch and final effort by Trump to stop House Democrats from gaining access to his records. It’s worth noting that Trump had declined to release his financial records during his Presidency which has always been customary for Presidents both present and past.
