Even before victories have been declared. The New York Times reports that McCarthy released a reported letter to colleagues on Wednesday. In that letter it reads “I trust you know that earning the majority is only the beginning,” he wrote. “Now, we will be measured by what we do with our majority.”
The power struggle playing out over control of the House has all but continued as votes from the midterms aren’t fully counted yet. Republicans across the board and on varying levels — have all falsely claimed forms of voter fraud took place. Claims that of course lacked any appropriate evidence to back such a claim to begin with.
