Seattle has issued a public health warning over the monkeypox virus as cases grow in region

Seattle is joining the long list of cities and places now launching their own public health emergency responses to the outbreak(s) of the monkeypox virus. In Seattle, the are has now more than 260 recorded cases and growing however there only very limited vaccines currently in supply for this virus. So cases growing in any capacity are a cause for concern because getting there aren’t enough vaccinations to go around just yet.

Seattle announced the measure this evening in an effort to boost help; tracking, hiring, and contracting otheers to help them manage the outbreak and get services going where appropriate.
