New York ‘s newest budget has legalized probably one of the few things during the pandemic that made most adults happy. According to the government, Kathy Hochul has signed into law for three years the ability for restaurants and bars to sell to-go drinks. Now let’s be frank pandemic or not this is a brilliant idea and so long as people drink responsible — it will likely prove to be a major hit with most people.

“New York’s nightlife and hospitality industry is second to none, and by allowing the sale of to-go drinks we will continue to support the industry’s recovery from the pandemic,” said Hochul.
