Ukraine ‘s leader President Zelensky is set to address Congress again today in hopes that the Americans will offer more help before Kyiv is taken forever. According to The Guardian, Zelensky is set to make yet again another address in hopes that the United States will once-and-for-all provide enough help to fend off Russia indefinitely but those hopes may be dashed.

News of the address comes against the backdrop of Zelensky ‘s own concession that Ukraine probably won’t be joining NATO anytime soon — which means help from America probably will remain limited for the foreseeable future. Limited in essence because without NATO membership — help from America beyond a surface level would be a declaration on behalf of America.

In his speech, Zelensky noted both Pearl Harbor and 9/11 as reasons as to why America should help more before yet another unforgettable tragedy further happens.
