Russia to be booted from the SWIFT financial system: Report

In a dramatic turn of events in the escalating battle against Russia most of the world is ready to boot the country from the SWIFT system. The SWIFT system is a Belgium based organization that helps connect banks and financial institutions across the world allowing them to communicate with each other.

That is now set to change. According to CNN, the White House; France, Germany, and the United Kingdom have all announced in a joint statement of the big move.

“This will ensure that these banks are disconnected from the international financial system and harm their ability to operate globally,” they wrote in a joint statement released by the White House and the intended countries so far that are publicly in agreement.
