He was a one time boxer; longtime Senator, and outspoken critic of the very government in which he served thus Harry Reid has passed away. According to Reid ‘s widow Landra, the former Senator passed away this week at the age of 82. Reid reportedly passed away surrounded by family and loved ones in his final moments.
He will probably be best remembered for his efforts to lower the req’d votes to confirm Obama ‘s judicial nominees in 2013 from 60 to a simple majority.
