In the latest COVID wave in America many should probably consider on their own hunkering down until the wave is over. According to statistical reports out Monday, the U.S is now averaging about 200,000 COVID-19 cases a day and is expected to continue to rise as the Omicron variant rages throughout much of the country. The same statistics show that the U.S likely will reach somewhere around 500,000 a day if the current wave cannot be controlled.
Current cases according to Anthony Fauci who appeared on Good Morning America over the weekend are up 68% these days.
The country is averaging 71,302 hospitalizations every day, only an eight percent increase over two weeks.
