If there’s one thing Erika Jayne is good at that is most definitely attracting as much drama to anything she does and in the fastest manner possible. During the first half of the notorious RHOBH reunion — Jayne made the comments that she felt she was being targeted and not given due process during her legal troubles. Troubles that have since been discovered that she allegedly may have had a part of after her AMEX bill was revealed to the public.
“Why should I be fired?” Jayne, 50, asked Andy Cohen. “Why are you presuming that I’ve done something? Why aren’t we letting the legal process play out?”
She continued, “You’ve heard one side — and a lot of bulls–t on that side. Give me a chance to defend myself. Watch me. I’m ready for the challenge. Watch me do it.”
Of course many people are aware that Jayne and ex-hubby Girardi stand accused of misappropriating millions in plane-crash victim funds to fund their lavish lifestyle. In case it couldn’t get any worse — Erika stands accused of filing for divorce in an effort to protect their assets under marital law.
In the same reunion Jayne revealed that had her legal team had their way she probably would’ve quit the show but she herself refused.
And then I said, ‘No, because I have nothing to hide.’ And they said, ‘Well, you know that this s–t can get flipped around on you.’ Everything can be parsed, twisted, turned and yes, possibly turned against you. Whether it is true or not, it almost doesn’t even matter at this point,” she recounted.
“But I’m not a quitter and I wanted to honor my commitment. I wasn’t going to run away from what’s coming at me.”
