President Joe Biden despite having gone to Camp David for the weekend made a plea to states to hurry the hell up. According to reports, the nationwide eviction moratorium is expected to end tomorrow. The ending is poised to plunge millions towards the brink of homelessness.
Every state and local government must get these funds out to ensure we prevent every eviction we can,’ said Biden
As the eviction moratorium deadline approaches tomorrow, I call on all state and local governments to take all possible steps to immediately disburse these funds given the imminent ending of the CDC eviction moratorium,’ Biden said.
According to The Daily Mail, more than 3.6m Americans are very much behind on their rent with no further help set to become law.
