Montana Gov signs bill banning trans girls from sports in schools

Montana is the latest U.S state in joining other Republican led states in their draconian effort to ban transgender girls from school sports because they say it is unfair. Gov Greg Giaforte signed the bill into law just two weeks after it became law via both houses of state legislature. Montana joins at least three dozen other states that have joined efforts to cancel transgender girls from school activities.

The same bill also introduced a clause that allows the rules to be rescinded if (and they likely will) the Department of Education determines that they’re in violation of non-discrimination rules. The law went signed mostly un-publicized and the governors office has not returned phone calls at this time.
