For the second time in less than a year, American officials are preparing to issue a nationwide level 4 travel warning advising against all foreign travel. According to the U.S State Department, the new advisory will go for about 80% of human accessible countries as COVID cases rise almost universally around the world.

This does not imply a reassessment of the current health situation in a given country, but rather reflects an adjustment in the State Department’s Travel Advisory system to rely more on CDC‘s existing epidemiological assessments,’ the statement read per the formal message posted online.
