In absolutely no type of shock to anyone Texas has advanced a new bill this weekend. According to the state legislature, Texans soon over the age of 21 may have the ability to obtain and carry a weapon with or without training. The bill apparently passed unanimously and is dubbed the “Constitution Carry” bill though makes numerous misleading claims about such in the same bill.

Known as HB 1927 the bill is quickly moving through the leg in the area. Protesters gathered over weekend in Austin to protest the bill although Republicans seem hellbent on passing it.

In addition to 84 Republicans at least 7 Democrats also voted in favor of the bill.
