J.K Rowling these days known for her controversial and often offensive words is set to release a new book this year. According to reports, Rowling is set to release The Christmas Pig in October to much fanfare.
On the plot of The Christmas Pig – illustrated by Jim Field – Scholastic said in a statement: ‘But Christmas Eve is a night for miracles and lost causes, a night when all things can come to life … even toys.
And Jack’s newest toy – the Christmas Pig (DP’s replacement) – has a daring plan: Together they’ll embark on a magical journey to seek something lost, and to save the best friend Jack has ever known.’
It comes just a short year or so after she released a series of books under a pen name Robert Galbraith.
