During the pandemic two museums in the Netherlands were the subject of two very different brazen art-world heists and now a major arrest. According to police in the Netherlands, 58-year-old man has been arrested after the series of Van Gogh paintings were all stolen.
The man who does not appear to have been named is accused of s stealing Van Gogh’s Spring Garden (or Parsonage Garden at Nuenen in Spring) from the Singer museum in Laren last March, followed by Frans Hals’s Two Laughing Boys with a Mug of Beer. Police say that neither of the paintings have been recovered.
