Marijuana may soon become a big thing in America as Majority Leader Chuck Schumer has apparently promised to use his office to tackle the issue of national legislation. According to Schumer ‘s office, he has already held numerous talks with President Biden — some of which is still fairly reluctant on the issue.
“He said he’s studying the issue, so [I] obviously want to give him a little time,” Schumer told Politico Saturday. “But at some point [the Senate is] going to move forward, period.”
Even more U.S states in 2021 joined the chorus of states who have already legalised it. Most recently, NY legalised weed which is poised to erase or totally withdraw criminal records for those who had been arrested for possession.
