The Ellen Degeneres Show was once a daytime titan among television’s biggest names. But as the New York Times calls it “a disaster in waiting” followed after Ellen ‘s toxic workplace scandal broke last year. Since September, Ellen has reportedly seen more than a 43% decline in T.V ratings — mostly accounted to the fact that nobody cares to watch her anymore after the truth came out. Those drops are among Ellen’s core audience mostly adult women under the age of 54. The same is reportedly the case for Ellen ‘s NBC show Game of Games.
“The Ellen DeGeneres Show remains one of the top three highest-rated syndicated talk shows this season,” David McGuire, a programming exec for Warner Bros. subsidiary Telepictures, says in a statement per Newser and The Independent.
