Republicans including former Prez Donald Trump who recently said that the filibuster going would be code red. According to a recent podcast interview, Trump voiced his concern for Republicans and called it a disaster.
In the interview, which other Republicans seem to agree, Trump noted that Republicans just should not show up at all. Without the filibuster, Dems would need all but a majority rather than the 60 minimum votes for legislation.
Democrats are hoping to scrap the majority in favor of change. The possible implications of such could be dramatically altering for the United States if Democrats keep to their promise.
