Oprah ‘s struggling magazine O Magazine (which suspended publication at the height of 2020) is set to focus on digital operations in the months to come. But in the midst of a structural shift, the struggling magazine will also instead add a paywall further complicating its struggles to maintain readership.
While the magazine reportedly has a steady userbase, these days paywalls tend to turn people away from magazines and websites rather than actually accept them. According to the New York Post, the same magazine will undergo an extraordinary change in leadership as it seeks to adapt to a post pandemic mostly digital world.
