The now infamous subway slasher in New York City has been arrested. According to Bazaar Daily, the slasher has been identified as Rigoberto Lopez, 21, who struggles with his mental health and may have been homeless prior to the unprovoked attacks. It is unclear exactly how the NYPD will handle it from that scope.
Lopez reportedly had at least four priors including assaulting a cop and possession of drugs.
Lopez was apprehended with a large knife in his possession and further then confessed to the same attacks according to multiple reports. It is unclear if he was working alone or had others.
