Twitter has indefinitely banned Project Veritas

Project Veritas is no more (at least in part.) According to Twitter, Veritas has been indefinitely banned from Twitter amid claims that they (or that they threatened to) release personal information about someone on Twitter.

Editors note: Twitter ‘s Terms of Service make it very clear doing so or even the threat of doing so can land you in the hotseat and you likely will lose your account.

Reports out Saturday indicate that the ban came after the conservative group tweeted something about Facebook ‘s VP and then followed up with the claim of it involving their home. Veritas’ leader James O’ Keefe also had his personal account temporarily locked for the same reason.

“The tweet in question arose when asking for comment from Facebook’s VP of Integrity about censorship,” Project Veritas said on its Telegram channel. “Project Veritas is appealing this decision, as no privacy was violated.”
