Wednesday marks Day 2 of the Impeachment Trial against Donald J. Trump and it is set to be a big afternoon already. Today, House Impeachment Managers will do their part in presenting further evidence including additional footage to convince skeptical Republicans of conviction.

The two day presentation portion of the trial is set to perhaps be the most important part considering some Republicans argue the evidence doesn’t exist.

Rep Jamie Raskin, the leader of the pack, kicked off the morning with some harsh words for those watching the trial.

“He told them to fight like hell, and they brought us hell that day,” Raskin said. “The evidence will show you that ex-President Trump was no innocent bystander. The evidence will show that he clearly incited the January 6 insurrection. It will show that Donald trump surrendered his role as commander in chief and became the inciter-in-chief of a dangerous insurrection.”

Over the course of the next two days, House impeachment managers will have roughly 16 years to make their case using evidence and the so-called new footage.

In expected fashion, there were warnings displayed that the video would in fact be pretty graphic.
