If new reports are accurate (and they appear to be) the United States could soon be dramatically upping its requirements for travel. According to CNN, Biden officials are reportedly toying with the idea of requiring recent COVID-19 tests for all domestic travel needs in the near future.

The comments come from Transportation Secretary Pete Buttieg.

“Axios on HBO.” reports via an interview that active discussions are underway. “There’s an active conversation with the CDC right now,” Buttigieg told Axios. “What I can tell you is, it’s going to be guided by data, by science, by medicine, and by the input of the people who are actually going to have to carry this out.”
