At the end of the year at least. Amid speculation about a number of things, CNN ‘s Jeff Zucker has now confirmed that he will leave the network at the end of the year without renewing his contract. The New York Times reports that the 55-year-old media titan confirmed the news to staffers in a call on Thursday.
The Los Angeles Times notes that the timeline of his departure rules out almost any chance of Zucker running for Mayor of New York City.
