But it should serve as a blank reminder that when it comes to their personal enrichment these Senators have no problem writing a blank check. But in the name of ordinary Americans and helping the same citizens they represent — suddenly deficit is thrown into the conversation. The conversation over the stimulus is getting troublesome considering powerful and very wealthy people rule the country whilst the common man continues to struggle.
On one end Democrats and even some moderate Republicans appear to be swaying towards granting the checks, although, Republicans like Ted Cruz and Mitch McConnell argue that such checks are socialism for the rich. Although that argument of the same is never used when Republican allies get hand outs; welfare, or subsidized corporate checks on behalf of the American taxpayer.
