Gun violence once again soared across New York City over Thanksgiving weekend

Thanksgiving was anything but appealing in New York City. According to official stats, at least 14 New Yorkers were shot over the course of Thanksgiving weekend. The shootings reportedly occurred in every borough except Queens.

Police say that the shootings spanned from central Bronx to multiple in Brooklyn to multiple victims randomly turning up at hospitals across New York City. 2 men in Brooklyn were randomly gunned down in front of an apartment complex on Black Friday while another was shot on Saturday. An unidentified man turned up at a local hospital in Staten Island whilst another turned up at Barnabas.

Queens didn’t record a shooting until *after* Thanksgiving. On Saturday, a Queen ‘s man was added to the list of shooting victims and sent to the hospital shortly after 2:30 am locale time.
