Following weeks of illegal interference; troublesome drama, and some other stuff — the General Services Administration has now signed off on the transfer of power to Joe Biden. According to the administrator, Emily Murphy (who is wanted for questioning on Capital Hill), she has now sent a letter to Biden ‘s team confirming they’re allowed to begin the process.
Please know that I came to my decision independently, based on the law and available facts,” Murphy wrote. “I was never directly or indirectly pressured by any Executive Branch official — including those who work at the White House or GSA — with regard to the substance or timing of my decision. To be clear, I did not receive any direction to delay my determination.”
The letter appears to have been first obtained by CNN who ran it on Monday evening.
