On the promo trail for his book A Promised Land — former U.S President Barack Obama dives deep into the political divide; racism, and the problems he says have countered the fabric of America that he knows.
“What it says is that we are still deeply divided. The power of that alternative worldview that’s presented in the media that those voters consume — it carries a lot of weight,” Obama told CBS News’ Gayle King in an interview that aired on “CBS Sunday Morning.”
His book is due out 17 November and the interview airs today on CBS.
