Fans of Dancing With The Stars were suddenly perplexed to find out that Jeannie Mai had abruptly dropped out of DWTS after a spectacular entrance. But instead of such being for what some may expect — the reason behind such instead is because of a life threatening condition recently discovered.
Mai recently discovered that she has epiglottitis, a rare condition that requires emergency surgery because it can lead to blockage of the wind pipes via the throat. Doctors reportedly told Mai that she would be unable to compete — because just one more day would’ve ultimately been her likely death.
