In what they say is an effort to stop confusion and obvious misinformation —- Facebook has announced that it will block political advertising in the minutes that directly follow the 3 November Presidential Election. Facebook in recent weeks has been widely accused of aiding and abetting those seeking to sow misinformation among American voters ahead of the election.
