Bloomberg: I’m paying fines in Florida so people can get out and vote

And now Republicans are mad. In Florida, the backwards state that went against the vote of its own people might just have roughly 32,000 more voters this election season. According to reports, former Presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg ponied up $16m to pay off legal fees for roughly 32k non-eligible voters. The move came after a previous ruling by a Florida judge that despite a vote by the people former felons wouldn’t be able to vote until all fees had been satisfied.

That now changes.

Axios reports that singer John Legend and many more are also stepping up to the plate to donate towards tackling fees so people can get out and vote.
