Hours after gradually easing lockdown restrictions — Germany might just have a new problem on its hands. According to Sky News, Germany has seen a spike in its infection rate raising such back to 0.96. The World Health Organisation is aiming for countries to remain at an infection rate below 1.0.

Officials are weighing whether or not it may have been a little early to lift lockdown measures. As of Thursday,  161,173 cases of the virus and 6,399 deaths have been reported in the country.
